I am going out of my comfort zone here. But...being overweight is horrible. I have fought it my entire adulthood. Here are some of my problems with not sticking with it. I let people get to me. I let things I can't control get to me. I was going about it all wrong.


All of those and the fact that you are harder on yourself than anyone is causes you to sink into a depression. You want to hide. The pandemic assisted with my hibernation which led to more weight and more depression. I hide it well outside my home.


6 weeks ago I decided it was time. I am 3/4 of the way through my life. It's past time for me time. I started meal prepping. I'm eating clean. Portion controlling. No scales. No calorie counting. And...Here is the biggie...I started taking classes at Battlegrounds Fitness. Yes, CrossFit.


What is happening to my health on the inside is very obvious already. What's happening on the outside is slow but there is a difference. My goal will come in time. Things can be modified. Yes, you can do it. Yes, you have the time. Yes, you are worth it. I'm putting this out there because I know there are more of me kinda people than just me.
